The eleventh recipient of the honored crown is scrappigramma2, aka Grace. What an amazing gallery! I was not familiar with her work and found several cards that I wanted to case. When I happened on this card, tho, I was captured! Here is her card: Stay the Course on the High Seas by scrappigramma2 at Splitcoaststampers
This card has taken me longer to complete than any card ever! I love her stormy sky, so the first image I made had a stormy sky but then I realized it didn't really go with this beach scene like it did with her gorgeous boat. So, I tried again. Then I went looking for paper and this is what I came up with. It doesn't compare to her beauty, but I will give it to my DH who has a big birthday next month.
Congratulations Grace on being chosen this week and on having a truely beautiful gallery!

Yikes, Anne, you really did see this as a challenge, didnt you? I cant believe I've seen anything like this from you before. I know exactly what card you cased; I had my eye on that one too, but moved on because it didnt take me long to figure out that was definitely out of my comfort zone. I lov the beach scene and the twine, oh the twine is wonderful. Girl, this is fabulous. Hey, did you see I've used some of your california papers on one of the cards I cased in Grace's honor?

Anne, this is fabulous. I love the beach scene and that rope hammock between the palms. We have one of those, but must put it on a stand and it's not nearly relaxing enough!! Great case. Love the twine too. Your DH should love this.

What a great card!! I also looked at that one, but didn't have the elements needed to even TRY to case it, so we will have to give you the kudos on this one!! Loving that stamp with the hammock on the beach and LOVE the way you used your twine - I am sure Grace will love how you were inspired! TFS
