This is for Karen's Seriograph VSN Challenge. However, after looking at the fabulous gallery, I don't think I capture the "spirit" of the seriograph, which has more randomness to the brayering. It is physically impossible for me to do randomness. I started off well, brayering Dandelion, Canteloupe, Tangelo*, and Potter's Clay, even leaving white parts! I then stamped and embossed Upsy Daisy. I then brayered the whole thing with Tangelo and uh-oh, missed a spot, so brayered again, well now this part looks uneven, so brayered again, well now it's not dark enough on top so brayered some potter's clay, well now it's too dark add some tangelo and maybe a bit of cantaloupe at the bottom, etc, etc, etc until it doesn't look very seriograph-y at all. But (a) I lurve it and (b) I never would have tried it if it wasn't for this challenge, and isn't that what VSN is all about? And could summer sun, pumpkin pie, and really rust match these color any better? You would have thought I planned it!
*am I the only person who thinks of the story of the mom who named her kids Oranjelo and L'monjelo (after what she had to eat in the hospital) whenever I use the Tangelo color?
I added the sentiment in brown to the bottom, as this will be sent off to an SCS's sister who is in the middle of a fight against cancer. Go, fight, WIN!!!

You are so funny. This is beautiful. The background layers look a bit like a paint chip...good job. This should really help brighten your friends' day. TFS

I think this is just gorgeous, even if it isn't exactly serigraphish! Love the colors and your fun story about the mom in the hospital. I know of a mom who named her twin Vilan and Vilon after a comb she used in the hospital!!!!
Thanks for taking time to play in my challenge.
