For the challenge we were to create using what we collect as inspiration and I collect glass paperweights and I have one with the turquoise and pink with a flower swirled design in it and also I prefer the rounded top style like you see in the ice cream cone.
When my oldest granddaughter (now 20 years old) was small she named every paperweight I own, I wonder if she could remember the names now. I made it a fun collection for her too by making a taliediscope (A taleidoscope does not have colorful objects inside) for her to view them throughÂ…that was such fun, canÂ’t wait till the new granddaughter is old enough to do the same.
-Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps were used to color the image using the Gamsol technique found in the resources section here at SCS. Baby oil replaces the Gamsol.
-After cutting the images out I used a black marker to color the edge then tape and glue holds them together and they are mounted on the card with foam tape.
-The cherry on the card is filled in with Diamond Glaze.
-I made two passes with the embossing folder so the area under the stripes would not be embossed; tape sticks better to flat surfaces.
-The black bordering the designer paper are 1/16” strips glued to the card.
-I had two pieces of the ribbon so one is wrapped and taped to the back and the other is knotted onto the first.
-The background image on the Kraft colored base was heat embossed with clear powder. I ink up only the portion you see because tape does adhere well to the plastic embossing powder.
Tools: cutting scissors, EK Success – flower punch, Stampin Up – mat pack, Bazzill – piercer, Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots embossing folder, heat gun/tool

Oh, I REALLY like this card! Love the way you colored and shaded the 'ice cream' and how they're stacked....just like you'd get them at an ice cream parlor!
TFS,
Kathy
