I had this easel card cut and ready for a completely different card when I suddenly remembered I had a card due right now and the recipient loves camping, soooo.......this is it, and Pat, the other one comes next.
All the scenery background stamps are Stampscapes, colored with Prismas. Then an edge of grass with MS punch, a few more rocks and then the camp area. The tent, wood, and cooler are all from an old Printmaster program, though I did add more color to the tent with my Prismas. I used flower soft for the grass and dirt adding a bit of pretty colored FS for some flowers in there too. The fire is made with raffia and I colored it with colorbox ink. The rocks are rolled paper, then rolled in brown and grey ink. Then to sit around the fire, I added two 'logs' that I've picked up from the beach. To keep the easel card open is a pair of flip-flops. They are a brad that I snipped the prongs off of. Now if I could just plunk myself in a comfy chair right alongside that lake.........

OMG! My idea of "camping" is the nearest Holiday Inn, I am not the outdoorsy girl, but this card is so SPECTACULAR and INVITING, I really would LOVE to be there! I love the outdoors and 4 wheeling, just don't think I could sleep in a tent, you know BEARS and all! This looks so REAL, I am sure there is a bear on there somewhere! Your imagination and creativity overwhelm me-this is truly AMAZING and a work of ART!
