I wanted to do a quick shabby chic for the CAS challenge but I also wanted to watch Dancing With the Stars and the stamp room doesnÂ’t have a TV so I ran back and forth between dances to get this done. I finished about the same time the show did and in that time I had to run down for my cranberry drink too.
-Ink distressing on the base, image panel and insert.
-Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps were used to color the image using the Gamsol technique found in the resources section here at SCS. Baby oil replaces the Gamsol.
-Some Itty Bitty Background speckles around the image inside and out.
-The buckle is a recycled Christmas card and the belt is a recycled ad my husband gave me. I glued a full piece under the top with the buckle. I also added some piercing but youÂ’ll have to look close to see it in the photo.
-Image panel mounted on foam tape.
Tools: EK Success buckle punch, Stampin Up mat pack, Bazzill piercer, sponge, paper stumps, cutting scissors
