After spending 3 hours in the dentists chair this morning, it sure was nice to get into my craft room, especially before the pain meds wore off...LOL!! Thanks for the wonderful challenge, Julia...I love distressing!! This is also for the Queen for the Day challenge #8 to honor Lynn (allee's). Lynn has such a fabulous gallery....I finally picked her allee's CAS58 card to case. I kept the same basic layout, theme, and colors. I added the oval distressed image layer and matting, Groovy Guave ribbon and butterflies with pearls. I changed the stamps to Nina Brackett's Lovely Shelf set, changed the designer paper to Stampin Up!, and added the scalloped border at the bottom. TFL and Lynn...I hope you have enjoyed you week with the crown!!!
Dang, Joan, you rocked this one! I love those colors - remember those bonbon things that were that color of pink (seems like there was yellow and a few other colors, too) - you are probably too young though. Beautiful!

Oh Joan, dont you just hate going to the dentist? They drill and they drill and on top of that, they give some astronomical bill that sends you into the middle of next week. Hopefully, once the med wears off, you'll feel quite yourself. Geez, first it was you were sick and now you've had to go to the dentist. Anyway, let me comment on this gorgeous creation! Oh my, what a beautiful case of Lynn's card. Love the oval framed floral arrangement with your choice of papers. Very chic I might add!
