My DH and I made my new Nestabilities storage sheets. I had looked at various methods people were storing them and decided that I wanted them in a binder on magnets. I didnÂ’t want to have to open a CD for each one I wanted and I do not have the wall space to hang them.
Materials:
• Foam core or heavy cardboard, at least 2mm (art supply store)
• Utility knife with fresh blades (If using foam core)
• Magnetic vent covers (hardware store)
• Permanent Marker (I used a fine Sharpe)
• Good double sided tape (I used Sookwang)
• Crop-a-dile (We R Memory Keepers)
• Metal Ruler or T-square
• Scissors (I used Tim Holtz Tonic Micro Serrated Snip)
• Pencil
Instructions:
1. Using the ruler and pencil, mark off 8.5” by 11” squares on your foam core/cardboard.
2. Put a fresh blade in your utility knife and cut the foam core. If using cardboard cut with scissors.
3. Mark the 3 holes with a pencil or use bulldog clips and a sheet of 3-hole punch paper. Punch the 3 holes with your crop-a-dile.
4. On the side of the picture side of the magnetic vent covers, draw line a line at 3.75” and another at 7.5” using the permanent felt. Cut along the lines you drew and if you are like me you can round off the corners!
5. Put tape around the edges of the cut piece of magnet on the picture side and place on the foam core/cardboard.
6. Put on your Nestabilities!! You can write on the foam core/cardstock with the name of the set or print out labels from your computer.
