I made this card with one of the new releases from Mark's Finest Papers- Butterflies, Dianthus and Flourishes. I actually googled Dianthus and learned that the color "Pink" may have been named after this flower because of the edges of the petals are "pinked." SO- my card HAD to be pink. I'm sure I will color this flower purple at some point (I just have to....I love purple) but for today's card I wanted it to be authentic.
