Ohh I just love Taylored Expression images!! I confess - I pretty much cased this card out of the magazine - Go to Sketches - and the card is on page 149, and Debbie Olson created the card in the magazine. Even so - just casing took forever! I used real red as a base card, and Early Bird Cosmo Cricket DP - Early Bird collection -and I used Taylor Buttercream paper to stamp the image on. I did use a punch , my punchez friends!!! A corner punch - and oh boy - it was tough to punch through some of those corner layers!!! I got a thing for buttons - so of course there are buttons on the card - from Basic Grey JuneBug collection. I think I get extra punchez points for using and threading the needle to put the floss through the buttons!! I've got to make 4 more of these babies now that I've got my measurements together!!
Thanks for looking!!

Debzi, this is too adorable. And, I love those buttons. What a fantastic job you did but punchez points for threading a needle? Get real!!! I'll get you before the others punchkateers do. You know, I almost didn't comment after that fiasco today....you know the one. LOL Glad you're back making cards and having fun. ~Hugz~

Well, look who's in the gallery tonight! Yippee! And didnt you bring the sweetest card? You always amaze me. Last card was a replica of your wild and crazy hair and now its a sweet image like this. You are wonder woman: you wonder what to do and I wonder how you do it. Pay no attention to me; I'm always at a loss for words when I see the fabulous creations that come from the Cap'n Canada studio.

BTW, your coloring is fabulous and as long as I'm back again, let me ask you this: that isnt the floss you used all last week is it? I know you're a tightwad when it comes to spending Dave's money, but saving used floss is going a bit too far, dont you think?

The colors and mix of patterns and, of course, the wonderful design is a fabulous combination. Top it off with that super cute image and you got a knockout!

Oh it's so great to see you in the gallery Deborah! I love this wonderful, bright and cheery card - well, I think it's cheery, but it depends on whether the cupcake eats the daddy cake! Love your colouring, and the shadowing you did, too. Oh, and the buttons are a perfect match for the cherry on the cupcake!

Oh, this is terrifically fun, Debzi!!! I love the bright colors and that great Cosmo Cricket DP. You did a super job picking up the colors of your card in your coloring on Cuppie!! Your corner chomper did a fine job and made us Punchkateerz proud Of course I love the buttons--you know I have a thing for them, too (can't help but having a thing for them, I'm surrounded by millions of them). If Benzi won't let you have punchez points for buttons, maybe we should start a Punchkateerz subgroup for cardmakers with a thing for buttons. We could be the Buttoneerz. Wait a minute, isn't that an "As Seen On TV" product . . .
