Sorry for my off center picture. Well, you now know what my quilt looks like on my bed, hee, hee.
My First Easel Card!!!!!!!!!!
This was a lot easier than I was making it out to be.
This week's Queen for the Day is patsmethers.
She has an awesome gallery and some of her recent cards are Easel cards so I thought this is the perfect time to try one. Here's the card I chose to CASE: ~Delight~ by patsmethers at Splitcoaststampers
I love the orange color scheme she used so I went with that. I also love how Pat stamps the edges of her sentiment piece. I stamped mine with Itty Bitty Backgrounds in pumpkin pie and old olive. I made some flowers with my scallop circle punch using Brilliant blue, barely banana, and dp from the Welcome Neighbors paper pad.
I stamped "friend" from fundamental phrases in versamark ink and then embossed with iridescent ice ep.

You picked a great card to case - this is one of my favorites! It is like an expensive piece of art in a gallery beautiful. You did a super job. Did you take the bubble bath and concentrate on the face of Jesus too - looks like you did!

Melina~ Gimme those flowers! OMGosh, I *love* your first easel card (be careful, they are very addiciting!) I smiled to read that your 'off center' photo resembles the quilt on your bed- because your card reminded me of a beautiful quilt with the DP and those gorgeous flowers! Oh, I am sooo going to try those! The quote you used is so true! Thanks so much for adding your beautiful work to QFTD. Your work is a blessing! Hugs....
