On Tuesday night I went to my Stamper's Ten Make and Take evening. My demo Joanne let us play with new goodies that will be available to buy in the UK mini catty from April 1st. I was so chuffed to see the Two-Step Bird punch and I fell in love with the Vintage Vogue stamp set!
The first project we made was this birdhouse card. The base card measures 3" square, the roof was made with a 4" square of Choc Chip CS and a 3" square of Sweet Pea paper, both cut in half diagonally. We used the Eyelet Border punch to scallop the roof trim.
We used the gorgeous foliage flourish stamp from the Vintage Vogue set to stamp on opposite corners of the card and also on the bird wing. After punching out the bird, we spritzed it with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. We punched a 1 3/8" circle to represent the hole in the front of the birdhouse.
The flower was made with the Boho Blossoms punch and we added some shaping to the flower and the branches. The bird is popped up with 3d foam pads. I couldn't resist adding a crystal to the flower centre from my stash at home!

Finally, a bird house that I can put together! This is so cute. I love the idea of repeating the swirl on the bird wing. Thanks for the cute idea. I will have to make one of these. TKS.

I love your card and appreciate the precise directions, thanks. There's that word "chuffed" again! If I remember correctly, it means "very pleased"? I'll have to start using it; cool word!
