When I was a kid I had quite the obsession for collecting Wishnik Trolls. The large troll on the end with the red hair is the only thing that I have left from my childhood (other than my game of Clue). I remember standing in line with my father holding my hand at the Provident Bank in Willingboro, NJ where they were giving away these trolls if you opened an account there. I must have been about 5 at the time. The troll was a pirate with a red and white striped shirt, an earring, and an eye patch. Don't know where they went to over the years. The other little trolls I got on ebay, I guess I must be "vintage" too because that is how these are listed

You know, I like "vintage" much better than "old". My 88 yr. young Mom says she's not old, just not getting any younger. I'll have to tell her she's vintage!! You'll hear her laughing all the way from MA to your house, Joanne!! Your card is fun, and the trolls are a riot!!

OMG-I wish I had some of these troll images-I would make DD a birthday card with them! She is now 24, very "girly" but never played with dolls or barbie's, but she loved her troll collection! FUN and HAPPY card and memories! TFS

Oh, I just loved reading your story, Joanne!! What a great idea to take your card photo with the trolls in the background (although I would have known exactly what your card was about even if you hadn't. I remember those!!!) Anyway, your card turned out so cute!! Outstanding color and great standing-up hair!! That DP is the cutest--and a perfect color match. Awesome work on this childhood memories challenge!!
