Congrats to Cathy this weeks Featured Stamper FS163 and last weeks Queen for the Day QFTD01! So very deserving!!
These are the Bond Chicks – from a lesser known movie from the famous James Bond series called The Woman with Many Names, the story of a Russian spy living undercover as an artist and family girl in sunny California. In reality though, she and her sister Connie Jo9 – and if that isn’t a spy name I don’t know what is – are gathering evidence against one Ms Anne Ryan. Yep, that’s’ right, they’re trying to send her to the Big House in the nether regions of Siberia. But their skills are lacking in the spy department - the only way they can remember things is if the words start with the letter C. Cathy, Connie Jo, California, Colorado -- apparently their family members and pets all start with the letter C too - how original - NOT!!!
You better be careful though – rumour has it that Captain Canada is back in the gallery after recovering from the injuries sustained in her ‘fall’ [wink wink eh Nutmeg?]. And everyone knows us Canucks will get to the bottom of things!! Three more words you can remember - Captain Canada and Canucks!!!
My card is based loosely on this one. I say loosely, because I am not even going to attempt to draw, or do the special backgrounds that Cathy always does. So here are the deets:
Stamped, cut out, coloured and embossed the chicks – cause Cathy LOVES to emboss.
Cut out these thought bubbles from some dp in my stash and wrote on them. Mounted on curry cardstock that was first run through blooming dots CB folder, then matted in red. Added some dp to mimic the trademark Mutnik squares.
Congrats again Cathy – your work is always creative and funny and you inspire us all!! Enjoy your week – and I call you FRIEND!!

I was so caught up in all the "C" words I didn't notice the checkered bg! WOW, this is just amazing, the story, the card. I love it. Good thing I come from a small family because dad, sis, and I do have names starting with "C". How funny. This is so "creative, colorful, and very cute"! See, I even know more "C" words. hehe Please don't get me started. Remember a past Teapot Party and a cow named Curt? .....Love your card. The story made me almost pee my pants from laughing so hard! Thanks so much Laurie, for making my day so much fun. TFS :0)
