Hi! I made this card for today's ways to use it challenge: offer encouragement and SEND the card/project to someone!
I've been putting off making a card for someone in my church who had major surgery but his recovery time has slowed down quite a bit due to post op complications. So I thought that the challenge for today was not only an excellent opportunity, but perhaps a nudge from God to get the job done!
I used one of the wonderful lighthouses from ODBD; I made sure the colors I used were on the masculine side, including the dp and the cording.
Thanks for looking and have a bright day!

This is wonderful! Your coloring is great and creates such a lovely scene. I sure your friend is going to be bowled over with your card and keep it where he can gaze on it often.

WOW!! What a gorgeous card!! I'm sure we all understand the delays we have in making cards at times. This card is so well done. I'm sure it will come as quite a comfort to the man. Great job!!
