Oooh, I've always wanted to see those huge tortoises....how kind of Swoop to invite us to teaparty with them this week...I think I'll leave the swimming with sharks to the more adventurous gals here:
but the turtle riding sure does sound fun, I see one of the gals is givin demos on the proper way to do it, so I'm headed her way...
Alicia here: "Ruby honey, don't you worry none about being flat footed...I'm proof that you can have a fun and fancy life and never put on a pair of those dreaded stilettos...at least you only have 2 flat feet...girl, the money I spend on shoes for my 4 flat feet, I'm tellin you, it's insane...but a girl has to keep up appearances y'know....now, if there's anything I've learned out there in Hollyweird, it's that a girl can do and be anything she wants to...all she needs is the proper shoes for the occasion..So since filming is on hiatus, I told Sheri I'd take over this mission for her...pur girl, she hasn't realized there are anything but nurse shoes avail...(major eye roll here)..so I have my walkin shoes on and I'm bringing a pair for you.......well, yes, they are blinged out pink high tops designed by Mr. Converse but they are walking shoes...and you will be the envy of the Galapogos party circuit when you show up in yours...and you'll still be able to walk the next day while your friends are home soaking their bunions.......and now I need to have a talk with a few teapotters that are feeding Curt the squirt's ego...they have got to stop....**I'm the star in this family!!!***
Alicia is embossed with clear ep and colored with prismas..the row of funky townhouses and the tree I drew (as if you couldn't tell..lol) and the cobblestone street was done with the cb. you can't see in the pic but the shoes are coated with glitter

Well Alicia, you look mighty fine strolling through the mid-west on your way to Galapagos sporting pink high tops. (My daughter has a pair of pink Converse high-tops too.) I think you might be on to a high fashion trend I just may get me a pair.

Now what a fabulous story this happens to be. I love your image, but i cant find it online. It's so perfect for this challenge. I love your story too. Yeah, maybe some of those teapot partiers may be soaking their feet tomorrow, but Ruby surely will not be amongst those crazy stiletto women!

Sheri, I love your story - it is wonderful. I am also impressed you drew part of your scene! Great card. Don't you love this challenge? It is the most creative I get to be all week. I also love how you pulled in characters from past tea parties!
I hope to have those pasta recipes done this weekend....

Hey Sheri! I am so so so sorry it took me so long to get here! You probably didn't know this but when the crowd got wind that Alicia was coming to Galapogos, there was a little issue! Yep, turns out the crowd got rowdy, one of the teapotters got pushed off the big round rock, landed in the middle of a glass bottom boat, broke clean through and landed in the lap of a very, very handsome scuba diver! Well, let's just say I been doing a little crowd control and trying to settle the teapotter down who took a tumble cuz turns out she's engaged to a scuba-dude! Life is good! Snort!
OMG! Did Mutnik see this.....Alicia came looking for Curt has kin hanging in the clouds, while trying to steal Alicia's lime light! Wassup with that!! I just don't know about these California Cows, they are quickly becoming Teapot Tuesday Mascots! Hee!
What an amazing amount of work went in to this precious awesome card! I love the brick walkway....and how she is just so with it with her High Dollar High Style Converse Gems! That Alicia really is a star!
