Stef and Anemone gave us a REAL challenge this week to be inspired by one of the figure skater's costumes from the Olympics.
I was inspired by Marai Nagasu of the USA. I thought her skating and dress in the Ladies' Finals were exceptional. The butterfly...since she reminded me of a flitting butterfly on the ice. A little sparkle too...since all costumes seems to have a little bling.
I had the opportunity to take a class with Michelle Zindorf today at a local stamp shop. It was GREAT! So I had to try my new technique......keep in mind I am a newbie at her brayering technique and have a LONG way to go! : )

Seems to me that you've mastered the brayering technique! The butterfly is the perfect image to capture the essence of Marai as she almost floated across the ice. Beautiful and worthy of framing.

Trust me, you have her brayering technique down pat, no question about that. Stunning, stunning card. Glad you left off a sentiment. Anything more would really take away from its beauty!
