Today the Twisted Sistah challenge was issued by Lovely Linda. We are to use lace and distressing.
For the new challenge F4A1 we are to use texture, a color we don’t normally use and optional printed paper.
Since (as Linda can tell you) I am so random there isn’t a color I don’t normally use. So, I chose a metal color – gold and these gorgeous textured papers.
I distressed with gold ink and embossing powder on this gorgeous textured paper. I also used a gold panel.
This image is from smARTworks’ Fun Stuff set. (http://www.smartrubber.com). I am also using my first ever diamond glaze. I used colored pencils and Goo Gone on the image with some creamy caramel ink dropped in the glaze to distress it.
Oh and Linda, I was distressed trying to find ribbon in my house and figuring out how to incorporate it!

Super work coming from you today, Brat. Your bg almost looks like metal and is very cool. Nice way to show off the sentiment with that upturned corner.
Is that a vase of flowers for me? I love them. Hey, I just found a card in my craft room that I thought I mailed you at Valentine's. Well, I'll try to make up for that error. :)
