My mother just called. I hate bad news that involves making a fast sympathy card. While the WT was still on my mind, I used a nestie I cut out previously, a small piece of Stippled Rose, and five brads to go with a satin ribbon. Gotta run to the post office NOW!

So sorry you needed to make this type of card, but it sure is a beauty! LOVE that Nestie and there you go making me kick myself again for not buying that stipple rose! Love how you use only a portion of the image!

Anne, I couldn't do that gorgeous a card if I did it long and slow! And you just whipped it off "fast"? You are amazing! This card is amazing! I love the layout, the colors, it's a beautifully done sympathy card, which I do find difficult to make. Very nice, hope it brings comfort.

Elegant and simple, Anne. Perfect for a sympathy card. I love that white frame against the black card base. Your group of 5 white brads looks perfect. Nicely done
