Hi! This is a card I made based on today's inspiration challenge: Erte. I really like many of his works (even though I am not an art deco fan, per se#. I like the clean designs, the use of color to accent, and his use of other images such as stars, moons, waves, etc. alongside the main image to create a mood. And although I wasn't inspired to create this card by any one work, the entire gallery inspired me.
The image I chose reminds me of a roaring 20s woman; someone from the Great Gatsby or Titanic, perhaps. I picture her having just returned from a long night of partying, dancing and fun; she's tired but is unable to forget the night. Maybe she's just met her soul mate; maybe she's going to be wed in the not too distant future and the party was to celebrate her upcoming nuptuals. Whatever the thoughts running through her mind, she seems happy but pensive. She still has on all of her make-up #giving the work color), but the stars and the swirls behind her suggest she is dreaming of someone or something....
OK, I'll stop my fantisizing now! TFL and have a wonderful day!

Stunning, gorgeous and so beautifully colored! You spin a wonderful back story ... if you have time, you might consider playing in the tea party challenges on Tuesday! If you're interested, I'll send you the link. You would TOTALLY fit right in. Great card and gorgeous layout/coloring.
