Here's a birthday card I created for my Mom who is blind. I make all of her cards touchy-feely so she can enjoy them.
I die cut the cardstock and left the die on while I colored the background using pink and blue COPICs and the COPIC Airbrush System. I then stamped the image with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
I wanted a kind of soft, dreamy, watercolor looking background so after removing the die I used the *side* of a COPIC Sketch Marker's clear blending brush and rolled it around being careful not to go over onto the white edge. I really like how it came out.
Lastly, I dotted the flower with glue and sprinkled with white Flower Soft. It looks very lacy. I hope it holds up to my Mom's handling
I layered the image with lilac cardstock, then onto a flocked designer paper and finally onto a lilac cardbase. I added a silk bow, in keeping with the soft look, and a small tag for the sentiment. I sponged some blue dye ink on the small tag and layered it onto a lilac tag.
Thank you for looking and I hope my card helps to inspire you to stamp soon

What a beautiful card you have created for your Mom. It's unfortunate that she isn't able to visually see it but I am sure she will feel the beauty of it and the textures with her hands and her heart.
