This here is Curt the Squirt. He happens to be the little brother of Alicia the cow. He was so jealous when she went to California. He thought that all he needed to be a HAPPY COW, was to go to California, be famous and make a lot of money. When he got out there he tried being a stunt cow, but that didn't really work out. Really now, jumping the moon? He tried several other jobs, but none seemed to make him famous, or a lot of money, and he wasn't feeling very happy at all. He took a walk down by the beach. As he saw the sun set the stress got to be too much and he had to let out a good SCREAM. Of course to anyone listening it sounded like... MOOOOOOO!!! He got to thinking about the farm, how happy he was just doing simple things, like munching on hay, or looking up at the stars at night. (In California, with all the lights, he couldn't even see a single star in the sky, only the ones walking around) The more he thought about it, he had a revelation. He decided to go home. He now is very happy.
Drew my screaming cow and fence, water colored the sky and water. Thanks to Cindy and Edvard Munch for the inspiration!!!

And to think I thought I had to have a cow stamp. Of course, there is the other side, that you are a talented artist. Love the puckered mouth. All the better for screaming "Moo" my dear!

Hahahaha! Love your "prodigal cow" story... And your card is quite literally, a scream! Awesome job. Love your sketch, story and sense of humour. Thanks for the morning laugh.

Marilynn...you just kill me with your drawing! You don't need stamps girlfriend. You only need a piece of cardstock and something to get it down on paper! This little image rocks!
Just between you and me (don't tell Alicia) I think the Squirt just flat has it all figured out! Alicia will be there, one day, right along with him, at home enjoying the stars, grazing in the pasture.....just a matter of time before the papparrazzi, the stalkers, the hectic schedule, partying until she drops, competitive no good say they are your friends but they arent' companions just get to her big time! You get the picture right?
I am hoping for a happy family reunion back home! Giggle! Your card is precious. You can draw girly!

What a wonderful drawing!! Your painting is wonderful too. I can just picture Curt on the beach looking out at the sky. I'm so glad he is happy now.

Munching on the hay, ha ha ha, no wonder he turned into Munch's scream!! So clever, MariLynn. I just hope nobody takes it into their head to continue the similarities and steal the portrait of Curt.

Oh my goodness, this is just classic!! Can't tell you how much I enjoyed seeing your interpretation, MariLynn!! I hope cows do not suffer as much anxiety as people, but this rendition has me thinking there may be a bovine psycho shop opening up soon!!
