This card sure makes me ready for spring! Or at least a little bit of sun, is that too much to ask?
I used Mojo Monday Sketch #123 and started with that adorable October Afternoon patterned paper. The petals & stems set from Verve seemed to coordinate with it, so I stamped the stems on Gina K cream in olive pastel colorbox chalk ink, the flowers in memento rhubarb, and the flower centers with SU Summer Sun. I colored the flowers with a copic. After matting it with PTI Melon Berry, I added three matching buttons--coloring some white embroidery thread with the same copic marker for two of them, and punching out a butterfly for the third.
The sentiment was stamped & embossed onto PTI Aqua mist, then I cut two flowers from the dp to embellish it. Added a border cut from PTI Summer Sunrise and PTI Melon Berry dotted ribbon, then matted the whole thing onto 5 1/2 inch Summer Sunrise card base.
Thanks for looking at my card-I hope it brightened up your winter day!
