...and I can't get up. How horrible. My cards are becoming true to life. Yesterday, I needed the snorkel to work outside in the heavy rains. Today, I started this card before work and at my second pool I took a spill. That's right I went down.......hard. Fortunately I didn't break anything. I did scream out loud as I was falling. Thankfully only the customer's dog saw me. She came to my rescue and gave me a sloppy kiss. I am going to be pretty sore tomorrow. I can feel it starting now. I hate getting old!!!!........the card.......
Like I mentioned, I stamped my fallen skier, clear ep. Colored with re-inkers and acrylic paints. Cut out and set aside.
For the bg, on w/c paper I tried my hand at water coloring. I didn't draw first, I just painted. I definitely need a lot more practice at this. I only painted the mountains and sun. The trees are from Rubbernecker Stamps . After stamping I took a wet brush and re-inkers to go over them. When dry, I stamped the snow dots from Rubbernecker.
Stamped the pine sprig, which is also from Rubbernecker Stamps on the side for depth.
Cut out a frame of brown cs. Put dots on with a versa mark pen, white ep them. Put the frame over the scene panel then put this on a white card. Popped up the fallen snowman skier. At least he had soft snow for his fall, I fell on a railroad tye, hitting my head and hurting an already sore knee. Yikes!
Well, hope you like my scene today......TFL :0)

This is so adorable, Cathy! It's a wonder you could finish this terrific artwork after the nasty tumble you took! You're lucky you didn't get a concussion! Hope you mend soon! Stay dry! Looks crazy out there!

Okay, I hope now you'll make it to the drs before your vacation! I am so sorry to hear about fall. Thank heavens for the dog and not the pool owner! What a great RN image this is. Love how you added those twigs on the side too.
Pink mountains...whatever. It's just a darling card. Let me know how you make out at the drs!!!

I thought about you today when I saw the pool service pull uup in my neighbor's driveway and the guy was almost blown across the yard in a very strong wind during a storm today....

Oh my! I don't know when I have ever seen anything SO cute! I'm sorry it's such a true representation of what happened to you! (Try taking a bath with a big handful of Epsom Salts- it really does soak away a lot of pain and stiffness!) But back to your card- your coloring is fabulous and so is your cutting. Very nice job on the background, too! Very well put together card! Feel better soon!
