Here is my LO for this weekend's VSBN challenge K. The challenge was inspired by the song Imagine by John Lennon. The requirements are:
Use the word “Imagine” and/or some of the lyrics from the song somewhere on your page and scrap a person, place or event that celebrates the goodness of your life and or the goodness of the world around you.
I strayed a little from subject: thing "that celebrates the goodness of your life and or the goodness of the world around you." This photo is actually of me when I was very little, but I've always loved it because it reminds me to keep that curiousity and sense of wonder I had when I was a kid. I think that sense of wonder really helps us celebrate the goodness in the world.
The butterflies are all cut with my Flying Beauties set from Spellbinders. The pink is a fabric paper, and the blues and purple are all velvet paper. Tossed in there are a bunch of skittles/dew drops for a little more texture. The words Dreamer and One are stamped, and the rest of the journaling is done by hand.
I really like how this one turned out! I think I'll make another copy of it for a book for my Mom, since it's one of her favorite pics of me, too! Thanks for looking!
