I made two cards for this challenge, because the first card had a mind of it's own. My plan was to case this card that's been in my favs since Clownmon was the FS; FS128 Minnidr Butterfly CASE_lb by Clownmom at Splitcoaststampers. And, I thought Joan Ervin's scored bg here; CAS49 and DDC Valentine Wishes by joan ervin at Splitcoaststampers, was so beautiful and I wanted to give that a try too. Then suddenly I thought, I haven't used my nesties in a really long time, so maybe I'd give the card some shape. Before I knew it, the card was finished and it didn't look much like I'd origionally planned. So, I made another. I used chocolate scented ep for the butterflies and my stamping room smelled heavenly, so it really wasn't a hardship!!
Thank you Joan and Lois for the beautiful inspiration, and Betty for the awesome color challenge.
And, thank you all for looking!

Both of these are very pretty! I love the shape of the one on the right and your warm colors are perfect! And butterflies are always high on my list... Awesome cards.

Maybe not what you had intended for one, but together, I'd have to say you created a great set of birthday cards! Wow, you sure know how to craft a great card.

Darla, I had to laugh at your comments about how the card didn't turn out as you had originally planned. I think every one of us here on SCS can say the same thing! Nonetheless, the cards turned out so beautiful, and once again, your use of the clips and ribbon are perfection! Great job girlfriend!
