To make the image, I punched a small circle and placed it on glossy paper, then sponged around it with a variety of colors to create the scene. Then I stamped and embossed the bare trees so they look icy. (We passed through an area of icy trees like that over Christmas, it was beautiful).

Wow!! This is gorgeous!! Your inspiration piece really shines through. I LOVE your icy embossed trees. The way you did your color gradations for the sky is SO cool!! Nicely done

The scene you've created is so awesome with those ever so subtle colors and sun. I remember how beautiful fresh snow looks on trees. You've captured that memory perfectly. Such a beautiful card.
