I've had this PSX stamp FOREVER - I think it was one of the first stamps I ever bought, and I STILL love it!
The image was stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink and was coloured with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I lightly chalked the background with complementing I-Kan-dee pearlescent chalks, ie: red, brown, blue and pale red, then added some light peach pearlescent chalk to the roses. The effect is very subtle but it shimmers in the light, but not so bright you need your sunglasses. Wish you could see from the photo 'cos it looks really pretty!
I used my EK Success Arrow slimline border punch to punch some scrap red cs so that I could use 4 tiny arrows that are the leftovers from the punching, as hearts around the image. The arrows look like tiny hearts to me :-) The image panel has been mounted on dimensionals.
I punched a piece of the same red cs with my Martha Stewart Doily Lace edge punch and added a Scor-Pal line above it before attaching it to the green cs.
The ribbon was made in 2 separate elements and the bow itself was made with my Bow Easy. Lastly, I sewed on the gold heart charm.
I think the card could be used for a birthday as well as a Valentine's Day card or maybe just as an "I love you" card. Thanks for having a peek!
