This basket of roses was one of my first ever stamps from a long time ago - and I still love it - it has stood the test of time. The image was stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink and coloured with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I lightly chalked around the image with I-Kan-dee pearlescent chalks using the same tonings as the flowers plus pale blue, and the roses have apricot pearlescent chalk on them which gives the centre panel a lovely, subtle but sparkly sheen - alas, not captured by the camera :-( but really pretty IRL :-) Both the sentiment and main panel have been popped up on 1mm mounts (dimensionals). The ribbon was made in 2 separate elements and the bow itself was made with my Bow Easy.
I think this card would be suitable for a birthday as well as a Valentines Day card - or even for Mother's Day.
Thanks for having a peek at my card!
Edited to add: I forgot to say that the 3 tiny hearts on the top rhs are the leftover punchies from my EK Success Arrow slimline border punch - the little arrows look like little hearts to me :-)

This is really lovely. Thanks for sharing it. I haven't used my chalks in a while but will have to get them out now! Linda
