We sold a young mare just before Christmas. The buyers came to see her and paid for her, then returned the next day with a trailer to pick her up.
When they returned, they gave us a large platter of ho-made Christmas cookies and candies.
I made this card to thank them for the yummy treats! I also included a rubber stamp I designed for my boss, which is a mare and newborn foal. The foal is the the now grown up mare that these people bought.
I used a couple techniques for the card. First, I did the alcohol inks and foil.
Then I used the "Midnight Magic" or "Pencil Over" technique on the wildflowers.
After I finished coloring the flowers, I went over the image with a Versa Mark pen and clear embossed it. It needed a little "shine" to go with the foil bg.
