Here's one more card for the assorted gift box of cards I'm giving my mom for Christmas. We have a couple classic car/truck nuts in the family, so I made this a birthday card that she can use for either one of them.
I stamped the image with black on a textured, cream colored cs, then colored it with Prisma pencils. I used a silver Prisma pencil for the chrome parts.
My color choices were inspired by a guy in the area who had a truck like this when I was a teenager.
The truck was almost this exact shade of green, and it had the same flames on the front that shaded from yellow to red. The only difference was the real truck had a name painted on the door. The name was "Screamin' Demon".
It doesn't matter which of the guys mom chooses to give this card to...they will remember the Screamin Demon when they see this.
I trimmed the image and mounted it on black cs to give it narrow "frame".
I stamped the words all over the bg cs then sponged black ink around the edges. I attached the image to the bg using pop dots.
I may glaze the glass and headlights yet. Haven't decided for sure tho.
