Hey, it's me, the Christmas Card Lady who never wants to make another Christmas card again!! Yeah, like that will happen!!
I thought it might be cool to make a quilt with the top note die using some Christmas Cocoa DSP. This is what I've come up with.
.I punched out twelve 1-1/4" squares from the Christmas Cocoa DSP and adhered them to a 3-3/4x5 piece of white card stock, then ran it through the top note die cut to get the quilted top note.
.Onto that I popped up an ornament I punched out using the SU ornament punch and ran it through the Holly Ribbons EF, added a sparkly pearl snowflake, red pearls and ran some thread at the top of the ornament.
.Pearls are from my buddy Wattle who keeps me loaded with beautiful pearls of all colors and the red thread is from djahner. Thanks Kathy & Deb!
.I added a ribbon, sentiment and 3 more pearls to the bottom.
.The red cardstock layer, the top note die and ornament are all popped up on dimensionals.
.P.S. My card is 5.25 x. 5.25.
I think that's it. I may try this with some other papers and see what patterns I can come up with.
Thanks for taking a visit and let me know what you think if you have a chance.
P.S. Anne Ryan: I think I have about 9 more Christmas cards to make, so sit tight. Try to make it through this madness. I'm with you - I'm SO over these now!! LOL!!

Ooh, I like your Top Note quilt. Those are so much fun to make. This made a beautiful Christmas card with the pretty ornament. Wonderful supplies from djahner and Wattle. It's almost over, Pam. I think you should start in January making cards for next Christmas. Anne Ryan would probably quit coming to your gallery if she thought she had to see Christmas cards from you all year. LOL

Hey Fruitflake...! (No marbles in sight, but lots of flakiness...) You're still on that Christmas card kick eh!?! Guess I'm gonna have to get going on mine...and there won't be 60 different and unique Christmas cards rollin' outta my Rubber Room! Love the quilted Top Note look - and the punched flake on the ornament - oh, and the red pearls too. Yup, it's another one of Pamelina's Perfections. Between the blasted elbow and being absolutely inundated with orders at the volleyball tourney we did on the weekend, I haven't even had time to look wistfully in the direction of my Rubber Room this week! Someone told me it's December now! WOW - when did that happen! Great work on all your fabulous creations Pam! Wish I could hire you...

WOW, will you look at this! I can hardly believe my eyes. Oh wait....wait just a minute. dont even try to tell me this is yet another Christmas card. Oh no, just when I thought the end was near, here you go again with oh yikes another one. I dont know how much more I can take, Fruitcake. This is just about putting me over the edge. Quilt or no quilt, pearls or no pearls, striking design or not, I just cant come back to your gallery one more time. I'll plan on coming back something in mid-February! Have a wonderful holiday. I'll see you in a few!
