I angled the card to get the reflective surface, so you can't see the sentiment as clearly as it is in real life.
Image panel- on glossy cardstock, stamped image with Staz-on. Then used white crayon to cover areas that would be on the ice, and Metallic Art Pencils to colour the people. Sponged blue and green inks in appropriate areas, then wiped off (it comes off the waxed areas.
Background: scraped tiny bits of Metallic Art Pencils onto Whisper White cardstock using a knife. With a warm iron covered with foil, rubbed and smeared over the bits until the wax melted and smudged. I used three colours- blue, green and silver. Sometimes I just scribbled onto the cardstock with the crayon to fill in areas, but the best results came with the shavings. The results are beautiful- shiny waxy surface. My double sided tape stuck to it just fine for mounting.
I used a white rub-on from SU's 'Chit Chat' package. The rubons went on easily too.
When i went to mount the whole panel, the white card was too stark, so I stamped around the edges with the small stamp from Winter Post, using Bordering Blue ink.
