I made this using sculpey clay. I rolled premo sculpy white to about 1/8" and cut into square shape). Stamped with various earth elements colors of craft ink with Fall Whimsy Stamps. Rolled Black Premo Sculpy to same thickness - cut into slightly larger square. Bake for 15 minutes at 275, let cool and then painted black tile with sculpy glaze, laid white tile down while still wet and painted that too. It is still wet - but this glaze should hold them together when dry

I think you have to use craft ink. I'm not sure I like it though. It isn't very thick and doesn't feel very sturdy. Might be a good ornament if it were smaller and cut differently. But, not sure I like it for a coaster.
