I got to the Midnight Madness Challenge on the 1st day this week. What are the chances of that? I had this brilliant idea to do a black and gold sparkly Christmas card, but it was a bit of a struggle. It needed something more, so I added some red bling and that seemed to help take it where it needed to go.
I couldn't get the camera to take a very good photo due to all the sparkly gold. If I can get a better photo of it tomorrow, I'll edit the photo.
Here's the sketch from Midnight Madness. Come join in. Their sketches really help your creativity and there are prizes and award every week. Here's the link:
.I decided not to use patterned paper this time. Instead I used gold glitter paper for my mats and all embellishments, along with black and gold embossing and black with an embossing folder.
.I used some scroll dies representing the straight lines shown in the sketch. Thought I'd mix it up a bit. I added some gold bows and snowflakes with red bling.
.I popped up 3 layers on dimensionals.
Like I said, I'm not too happy with the photo I took, but if you have a chance, let me know what you think!! Have a great week!

Such a stunning Christmas card in gold and black. The touch of red is perfect
and I love your scroll die cuts. Those are the sweetest little bows, too.
But, Pammy, I am wondering where the PEARLS are???? Seriously, your red gemstones are just the ticket. I love, love all the glitter and sparkle going on with this paper. Awesome card!

Gorgeous!!! The tree is just beautiful, and I love the sparkly gold. I am all for bling, so the little additions of bling that you made with the red gems are just perfect. Magnificent job as always Pam! Thanks for playing with us at the MMSC this week.

Fruitcake, you've outdone yourself with this one. How gorgeous is that paper! Your embellishments are totally awesome, too. I'm so surprised at your talent. Now why would I be surprised with your talents? You'll have to figure that one out all by yourself.
