I just received an order of House Mouse stamps and wanted to use one to make a graduation card for my neice. One of the stamps was Playing Dress Up, so I masked the female and stamped the male with stazon. The female has on a wedding dress which wouldn't work well for a graduation card. I colored the mouse with prismacolors & oms to blend. Stamped the graduation hat, colored with prisma/oms, added a sm blk brad to the centre and put it on the mouses head. I used a cb embossing folder on metalic blk cs for the bg. Added metalic silver cs which I punched with a ms border punch along the bottom. I used spellbinder dies to cut the blk & wht cs around the mouse. Silver ink sponged around the mouse on the wht cs. The flowers were punched out using the metalic blk & silver cs and then I added the fancy red & white brad to the centre. The diploma was made by rolling a white piece of paper and tying it with black embroidery floss. I also did tiny writing on the insice of the scroll which you can't see, but, I know its there. The inside of the card is done as well. On the left side I stamped 3 grad hats, colored them with vrs. shades of gray prismacolors and oms to blend. I used a spellbinders label punch. I also added more of the blk & silver flowers to the inside. I had fun making this card. Next time I'll leave the girl in the picture and make it a wedding card. I just love the House Mouse stamps and they are so much fun to color. TFL and have a great day.
