Thanks to akbride (Hi Teresa!), who loaned her Yuletide Christmas set to me, I was able to put some more Christmas cards together. I used SCS's very first Sketch Challenge Forums at Splitcoaststampers because these nutcrackers fit the bill just perfectly!
I started with a Not Quite Navy card base and used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to stamp the sentiment with Basic Black ink at the bottom right corner. Panel 2 is some Real Red dsp from SU's Patterns Pack. I stamped the nutcrackers three times with Jet Black StazOn on Whisper White cs and colored them with various SU markers. I then spritzed them with a rubbing alcohol/Frost White Shimmer Paint blend. When they were dry, I layered them on Real Red and Summer Sun cs, punched holes at the top of each and added the Real Red grosgrain and Gold Elastic Ribbons. Finally, I added a Real Red button with Gold Elastic Cord at the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.
