I am here with some more Verve sneak peeks before the release party tonight in the Verve forum. This card is also for the Verve weekly sketch challenge with a twist. We are suppose to use fabric or create a fabric look. I stamped the retired SU canvas background on the background piece of this card to create my fabric look.
I am showcasing for you two new gorgeous Christmas sets that will be released tonight in the Verve forum called O Christmas Tree and Holly Jolly.
The many wonderful ornament images that come in the Holly Jolly set can be stand alones or added together to create more vintage style glass ornament look designs. I am using basicgray wassail dp and paper pieced these ornaments. I stamped dtp dsp with versamark, gold embossed, and cut out. For the background panel, I like to call this altered dp. I took a basic patterned of the wassail dp, stamped with the canvas bg, then stamped in a scarlet jewel the sentiment. Love this look.
Stamps: Holly Jolly Christmas and O Christmas Tree, SU canvas bg
Paper: PTI scarlet jewel, ripe avocado, ivory, wassail basicgray
Ink: Momento Tuxedo black, PTI scarlet jewel, versamark, ranger antique linen, vintage photo, walnut stain
Accessories: Spellbinders, Nestabilities petite rectangles and circles, burgandy satin ribbon gold pearls, 1/4" circle punch, sponges, goldr cording, gold pearls, SU texturz plate, Spellbinder's borderabilities, copics, mini bowdabra, foam circles, foam squares, SU word window punch, gold ep

Beautiful rich color scheme and I love your background paper you designed using a combo of stamps (I love how you make your own background designer papers). Lovely card!
