For my card I have used the Gurlee Girl image called 'Avie' - she is just so sweet with that lovely ice-cream....the cherry on top started me off choosing papers and embellishments. I embossed the DP through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder - I love the effect of embossing on DP, it adds so much texture!
That YUMBLY DP is from a RAK from one of my Twisted Sisters, Pat Smethers, how could I go past it with this image. I layered it on black CS for the corners and then added some crochet lace...another favourite of mine - no doily is safe at our house! LOL! The ovals were cut with the Nestibilities Oval, I went for a smaller size so it would not overshadow the image! Both of these ovals have been embossed as well!
The image has been chalked and popped up with dimensionals! I made a stick pin from a RAK sent to me by my friend Sabrina (aka okimom2girlz) - I love these pins and save them for special occassions. I used a lovely deep red hydranga flower, layered with a tiny crocheted one and added a gold centre. I also used these flower centres on the edge of the oval. I have finished off with Dimensional Magic being added to the cherry to make it stand out!

Lovely Linda, this is just a cute, cute image and the lace you have used in the corners is very nice. Great job with this darling card.

Linda~ Sistah, I am now laughing at myself, because I was so excited to see that DP, thinking 'we have that here too'! Duh...Lol. That is one of my favs, but I don't think my use of it was ever this *cute*! Sweet little image, and 'chalked' to perfection. Your lace, pin and rose brads just kicked this up a notch to "LL Perfection". Beautiful work Sis. LYMI, hugs....

Linda, you are so talented and aren't the RAKs just wonderful? Love the stick pin and dp you received from Pat and Sabrina. Funny about the doilies not being safe at your house. Gave me a chuckle and that is good for the heart.
Love your sweet, beautiful card!!

Here's what I think Linda - THIS IS TOTALLY AWESOME!!! I wish I could find a bigger word than "awesome" because this card just really got to me. It is so darn beautiful!! Look at those layers, the textures, the gold, the perfectly colored adorable image popped up on those ovals, the stick pin, the lace - must I go on???? This is really spectacular Linda and so deserving to be on the MM site featuring you as a guest designer. I have a real thing for stick pins and Sabrina taught me how to make them and where to get the materials. She's a wealth of information and loves to share what she knows. We did it all by e-mail of course since she's in Arizona I believe. She's made me 2 stick pins that I refuse to use as I just like to sit and stare at them!! LOL!! Great job Linda and I'm sure Sabrina will be honored that you used her RAK to make the stick pin!! TFS!!!
