Another sample for the store. The boss is putting together a couple Faux Postage art boards. One for the store, and one to take to conventions.
I scuffed black ink around on the dark brown cs. I sponged brown ink on the tan paper, then used my pocket knife to distress the edges.
For the postage image, I first stamped the postage grid, then covered it with an acetate mask to preserve the white borders. I sponged tan, then apricot ink onto the image, then stamped the train in each window with brown ink. Cut close to the outside grid lines with a decorative edge scissors. Layered everything, added the cord and a brad.
