Fabulous site Stef, so many inspirations going around in my head right now. For this card I chose the night garden caterpillar . I plan to do another card later today if I have time....what a silly statment. I'll make the time!.....on to this card.....
This little caterpillar comes all the way from Australia. I stamped him with whisper white on black cs and white ep it. Coloring was done with twinkling H2O's.
Cut out with a coluzzle and sponged the edges white. Cut a scalloped edge oval and sponged edges sail boat blue then versa marked and used holographic ep over.
On a white ATC card, stamped itty bitty bgs with black and clear ep them. Sponged the edges black then sailboat blue.
Put my two panel together and popped them up on the card adding two metallic decor dots.
IRL this shines pretty good. Hope you like it.....TFL :0)
Did I mention we had a power outage the other day on top of everything else that was going on here. Well, it blew out the answering machine so I have to go get another one. This will be the fourth in two years. Every time the power goes out something breaks. Oh well. Such is life.

I knew instantly this had to be from the Night Garden. I can see, of course, that he's a caterpillar, but with all those fun colours he reminds me of the Chinese dragons from processions. I'm going to have to try H2Os on black card, never knew they could look so good.
Just a power outage blew your answering machine!! I know my mum lost hers once, and a TV another time - but those were full lightning strikes.

Oh, I see ... we both got our inspiration from our something in our minds! Okay be me. Love your australian bug all glittered up over there. your sponging is totally awesome. I have to tell you I'm totally lovin' this one. Can we rent someplace while I'm in Roseville for 4/5 days so you can try to teach me everything you know. The operative word here is "try" !!
