The VLVOct01 challenge is to use the sketch and twist it with a shabby chic look. I chose the softly colored dsp from HOTP along with some pastels from DCWV. I made the darker circle by using the faux suede method and stitched it in place, roughing the edges. It looks and feels like a piece of cloth. I stitched the layers with my sewing machine, and added some primas and buttons, along with a little bow. I softly stamped the floral spray from the "because of you" set but it doesn't show up on the photo. IRL it's very subtle and adds to the soft tones of the dsp. I wasn't sure about this shabby chic style, but I was happy with it after the card was done.
Thanks for another fun sketch Amber and thanks for stopping by

Carol, this card is nothing short of exquisite. Beautiful in pinks and wonderfully shabby chic. It's a work of art, my friend. Wow, you sure can create over the top cards!
