Here's my card for this month's Fan Club Winged Things Theme. If you're a Fan Club Member, here's the link if you'd like to play along. Forums at Splitcoaststampers I decided to tackle this old Sketch Challenge, too. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I started with a Soft Suede cardbase and lined the inside with More Mustard cs. I then pulled out some Autumn Traditions dsp. On this piece, I stamped the wreath twice - once with Always Artichoke and once with More Mustard. I stamped the bird with Ruby Red ink and then used the coordinating Merry Details Die to cut out a Ruby Red bird. I colored his eye and highlighted his feathers and feet with a White Gel Pen and adhered him over the stamp bird with a Dimensional. I then stamped the wreath hanger image with Soft Suede and added the Ruby Red brads to the wreath. I wrapped this piece with Soft Suede grosgrain ribbon, added the rub-on to the ribbon and then glued the entire panel to the card. For a final bit of eye candy, I punched out a 3/4" Ruby Red circle, layered it behind a clear button with twine and adhered it to the More Mustard layer with a Mini Glue Dot. Viola!
