Since Cindy won't be posting a teapot for the teaparty this week, I decided to make my own, with a smiley face teapot that I found online.
Instead of a teaparty I want to encourage the other teaparty ladies to join me in an encouragement shower.
We can make cards of encouragement for Cindy. We all know that she is the first one to organize RAKS for others.
If you want to join me put MMTPTES as your keyword.
This song from the Sound of Music went through my head last night.
...Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into Springs
These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad.
I decided to make a card for Cindy with some of my favorite things. Everyone knows I like butterflies. I used my favorite flower set and colored them with my favorite coloring medium... prisma colored pencils. I also like new techniques. Crazy Kim got me hooked on this really fun one called a Marvelous Magical Marquee.

Oh, I am so IN! Wonderful idea, MariLynn. You are testing my wits, however. Do you not realize that I need a sneak peek and a prior weekend to make a card? Sheez!!!
Hmmmm, do I bake a cake for a birthday person tomorrow or make a card for MM's Encouragement Shower? Well, that's a no-brainer!
Fabulous, fabulous idea ... just got home and am still in my work clothes, so I'd best go don clothes for getting inky for our dear Mothermark ...

What a wonderful suggestion, MariLyn. You're right, Cindy is always organizing heart felt ideas for others, so the time is right for her challenge chasers to come together for her. So thoughtful. BTW, this is just a great card. So glad you used a teapot. She'll love this one for sure.
