I didn't think I would be able to play but looked through some RAK's I had been sent and found an image from Kathy (aka Wattle) and a Scripture from Lesley (aka Marleygo) so thank you girls. These two images aren't from the same sets, but don't you love how they work together here!
I embossed the creme CS and inked around the edges, using the Fiskar Border Punch on the top edge. The image was cut out and popped up on dimensionals, I did add some depth to the wings with Chalks and a tiny touch of Kindy Glitz, which, as usual, the camera has not really picked up. The oval Nestie has also been sponged around and then layed onto a larger one and then added to a black scalloped oval. I have attached crotchet lace across the lower part of the card and added those gorgeous copper Kaiser half pearls.
The scripture has been sponged around and layered onto back CS and then adhered to the embossed inside card. I used the broder punch as a corner punch as well on both pieces.
I have to say I am happy with the outcome, I am loving the embossing and the border punch together....I love texture and depth on a card, I can see that I am going to be making quite a few pocket cards in the near future!
