Yup, I think this will have to be my last card for the FS135 challenge today starring Lori aka LMcAree. Not that I couldn't play longer in your great gallery, Lori, just gots other things to do and all! LOL
This is my version of Lori's card here: WSC42 by LMcAree at Splitcoaststampers. I loved her juxtapositioning the circle with squares, so I just added more squares.
Because this card is intended for a man, the husband of new dear friend, I replaced the ribbon with raffia. I used wood veneers, a fabulous wood grain paper from Gmund, another wood dp and just a little colored dp for interest. The image was colored with Prismacolors with a little gel pen for the eyes. The little charm says friends, because aren't dogs our best friends? Well, almost anyway.
The puppy image was a gift from jaydekay and the charm was a gift from Anne Ryan. Thanks Judy and Anne!
Have a great day everyone and thanks for taking a peek!

Now tell me this cant be for Chimay Blue .. From what I can gather Tahiti Petey doesnt have a wife, but yet he continues to dream. Anyway, you know I would fall head over heals over this one. What a precious image and all the wood grains and soft colors showcase this puppy ever so well.

Okay, I've returned to the scene of the crime to tell you Mr. Chimay Blue has eloquently expressed a sincere apology earlier this afternoon. At first, I almost fell for it with those gigantic words he used, but then reality quickly set in when I realized he doesnt want the likes of Tina Tractor after him! Let's face, who would? That woman drives a mean tractor and is quite capable to taking down and demolishing everything within 100'.

Bwhaahhaahaa! Anne, I just sent you an e-mail as I wasn't sure you noticed his groveling for forgiveness. Me thinks he realizes that he is WAY out of his league!
