I wanted to make a Christmas card using weaving, since I am planning a Christmas Card Class coming up in September (by request from some of my loyal customers, can't argue with that!).
Specifics of this design: I cut 1/4" strips from the DSP, and wove them right on the RR cs, attaching only at the top end. There are 14 strips in all (a piece of DSP 6" x 3 1/2").
I'm not really happy with the result, though I think the idea has potential. I welcome your comments and suggestions for improvement on my design!

I really like the idea of the tree. Could you make it a bit smaller (maybe by changing the angle of the weaving) and add a trunk of some kind? Love the rhinestone brads as ornaments!

I love the concept -- Love the brads for bling. I think I would cut off the weaving going up so the shape became a triangle with the "branches" coming down. And then add the greeting as the trunk at the bottom. I am going to put this in my FAVORITES -- thanks for the inspiration.
