Hi! This card was made for todayÂ’s Clean and Simple Challenge: Masculine card.
I have been trying to make more cards using some of my “older” stamp sets, and have reacquainted myself with one of my very favorite sets: Forest of Trees. I LOVE this set, and used to turn to it for EVERY occasion. My father called yesterday and asked me to make a birthday card for one of his Meals on Wheels “clients.” (Dad is really very involved in his church and volunteer work, again. Thank goodness for all the advances in Alzheimer’s medications!)
I stamped the image in Adirondack Espresso and sponged on Creamy Caramel and More Mustard for leaves. I added in grass with Old Olive. The sentiment was also stamped in Espresso.
The card took very little time to make, as the coloring is just sponging. I LOVE to sponge! LOL

Beautiful Faith - love the colours and the tree looks awesome!
A great idea of bringing out the older stamps. I should do that as well.
