This is for a little inspiration challenge we have among our swap group. This month's theme was selected by Anne and she chose People. I could've had a hay day with that, but opted to make an Asian card since that's probably what Anne would most enjoy.
Photographed it last night, so I apologize for the dark photo.
The geisha image is from the internet, the koi stamp from an unknown manufacturer. I felt the geisha image was so stunning that I opted not to color it. I hope you agree!
Hi, swapper girls ... I'm late but I finally made it!
Have a wonderful day!

You sittin' down? In the past you have made cards that are cool, witty, cute, entertaining, etc. what I am seeing in the last 4 cards is what I always believed you very capable of, just plain old fashioned beauty. This is a perfect outlet for all the inner beauty that you possess. Can't believe you have not blown your beauty gasket by now, let it out Cates. You really deserve to be the Featured Stamper. Miss me?

Well, what's the answer? do you miss him? He's right about your inner beauty, my friend. How many other stampers have a certain someone leaving comments on their cards? I do believe there's probably only one, and I'm leaving her a comment. Oh, this is really so gorgeous. So you made this last night? Is that before or after you realized you were our special stamper today? Love the coin and tassle, too, DMM. Oh no, I guess I really need to get going. So glad you made asian for your people challenge. Is there any other kind of card to make? Happy week, FSer!

Ms. M, this is GORGEOUS. I'm with you, leaving the image black and white is PERFECT for this card and it pops off the red and black! LOVE that Asian coin and tassle. I guess Queen Anne of Ryan really LOVED this one!!! TFS!
