My first instinct was to pull out the Tart & Tangy stamp set but that would have made it too easy for me and I've used that set quite a bit. I thought I'd challenge myself by experimenting and trying something new.
I may have cheated on the buttons a little as they are Baroque burgandy and Sage Shadow (or maybe mellow moss). But I justified it because SU never made buttons in Purely Pomegranate, and I've had the buttons so long I couldn't remember if they were Sage or Moss. Moss is edible to animals anyhow LOL. I did however use REAL sugar for the frosting part. It proves that if you run out of Dazzling diamonds you can use your kitchen supplies.
I didn't have a template or die for the cupcake so it's all free hand and it was my first try at paper pleating. It didn't come out exactly the way I wanted but it's growing on me...probably because of the time I put into it.
