It's time for another Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge! This week.
I was immediately struck by the red background and white frame of the large box. For my card, I stamped the vases (all images by Sparkle N Sprinkle with black ink once on the red c/s and again on white c/s. Prismacolor pencils were used to color the images. Parts of the vases and flowers were cut out of the white version and paper pieced on top of the red version. I used a resized Spellbinders rectangle Nestie to cut out the red image panel.
The white frame was cut w/ a Nestie square and I used a Cuttlebug dot border folder around the edges. I didnt want to flatten the Nestie embossed edges, so I used a stylus and embossed the dots by hand. The large red square panel was embossed using a piece of vinyl mesh.
I added a little ribbon and made some faux eyelets for the corners, then added the colored and cut out greeting in the lower right corner.
Thanks so much for looking!

This is so pretty, Julie. I really love all the different textures you used - the mesh embossing looks awesome! I think my favorite part is the embossed dot frame, though. I just love how you pulled all the elements together!

Julie, this is really an amazing piece of art as are all of your cards. I just LOVE all the elements and details, yet it still has a nice clean look. Your colors are outstanding, your flowers beautiful along with your frame. Love those faux eyelets - they don't look faux from here!!! And, hand embossed dots too. Amazing the time and effort you put into your work and it always shows!! Great job! TFS!!
